Jag googlade vidare: "Hugo Duncan was born and bred in Strabane. He began performing full-time as a singer on Easter Sunday 1971, when as a 21 year old he played with his band The Tallmen at Newtown. He was with the Tallmen for about five years before going out on his own. Prior to becoming a full-time singer, Hugo worked as a bicycle messenger before going to work in the Adria nylon factory in Strabane, from 1965 to 1971, earning about £35 a week and then £7 a night singing with a band called the Melody Aces. He left the whole lot to earn about £40 a week with The Tallmen, just to get into a full time band. The best thing thing to come out of Hugo's time in the nylon factory was that it was there he met his wife Joan. Hugo and Joan have one daughter called Suzanne. They are now proud grandparents to Jake, Katy Sue, Elly Mae and Molly Jay. Having done a few shows for pirate radio stations in Donegal in the 80s after winning a Gold Disc in 1983 for record sales, he was asked to present a radio broadcast and was asked back to do more shows.. That's how it all started for Hugo as a radio presenter. Hugo Duncan can be heard every Monday to Friday at 1.30pm on BBC Radio Ulster. Forty years performing in the music business Hugo has recorded many albums and is still performing a few nights each week, we wish continued success to Hugo, also affectionately known as the 'Wee Man from Strabane' - long may he continue entertaining his many fans worldwide."
En dotter till Hugo, alltså! Nu har vi lärt oss något, både du och jag. Ha de´!
